Respiratory Protection, Respirator Training, & Qualitative Fit Testing (* / **)

This course prepares workers to use particulate/dust masks and cartridge half mask respirators. This course requires that the users be medically qualified before they are fit tested or wear a respirator. This should be done prior to attending this class. During the cause, attendees will learn about the different respirator types, respirator selection, how they protect the worker, proper wear and how to inspect, clean and service the respirator.

Did you know that a medical evaluation, fit test, and special training is needed for any employee who is required to wear a respirator…even a dust mask? This class teaches attendees about the OSHA standard for respiratory protection. Highlights include written program requirements, medical testing and training.
Classes that are marked with a ( * ) can be combined to receive an OSHA 10 Hour Card.
Classes that are marked with a ( ** ) can be combined to receive an OSHA 30 Hour Card.
All 10 and 30 hour training must take place within a six(6) month period. |
