Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Health (*)
Minimum 8 / $50.00 per student / 2 hours
The various types of both standard protective equipment (head, eye/face, hand, foot) and chemical protective clothing (CPC) are demonstrated. The principles of permeation, penetration and absorption are covered. Proper cleaning, maintenance, and storage practices reviewed. Proper selection and documentation of the required selection process is explained. The limitations of use for each type are identified.
Classes that are marked with a ( * ) can be combined to receive an OSHA 10 Hour Card.
Classes that are marked with a ( ** ) can be combined to receive an OSHA 30 Hour Card.
All 10 and 30 hour training must take place within a six(6) month period. |
