Asbestos II
Minimum 8 / $200.00 per student / 8 hours
Class includes all the topics in Asbestos I plus the specific work practices and engineering controls which specifically relate to the category of material being removed. Class includes "hands-on" training in the work practices applicable to each category of material that employees will remove and each removal method used.
Asbestos III
Minimum 8 / $400.00 per student / 16 hours
Class III training is consistent with EPA requirements [40 CFR 763.92(a)(2)]. The course includes "hands-on" training. Training includes the specific work practices and engineering controls which specifically relate to that activity, and shall include "hands-on" training in the work practices applicable to each category of material that the employee disturbs.
Asbestos IV
Minimum 8 / $50.00 per student / 2 hours
OSHA Minimum
Training for employees performing Class IV operations is consistent with EPA requirements [40 CFR 763.92(a)(1)]. The class includes all available site information: locations of thermal system insulation and surfacing ACM/PACM, and asbestos-containing flooring material, or flooring material where the absence of asbestos has not yet been certified. Classes that are marked with a ( * ) can be combined to receive an OSHA 10 Hour Card.
Classes that are marked with a ( ** ) can be combined to receive an OSHA 30 Hour Card.
All 10 and 30 hour training must take place within a six(6) month period. |
